Consumer Price Index Development of Tolitoli Regency in February 2024

• In February 2024, Tolitoli Regency experienced a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 5.76 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.36. 
• The y-on-y inflation was driven by price increases indicated by rising expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverages, and tobacco group by 11.75 percent; the food and beverage provision/restaurant group by 7.59 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 4.27 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 1.02 percent; and the transportation group by 0.38 percent. Conversely, there were price decreases indicated by the decline in the following expenditure group indices: the recreation, sports, and culture group by 4.32 percent; the household equipment, appliance, and routine maintenance group by 1.63 percent; the health group by 1.62 percent; the personal care and other services group by 0.72 percent; and the housing, water, electricity, and household fuels group by 0.43 percent.
• The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate of Tolitoli Regency in February 2024 was 0.05 percent, and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.26 percent.
