In January 2025, Tolitoli Regency experienced a year-on-year (y-on-y) deflation of 1.27 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.91.
Year-on-year (y-on-y) deflation occurred due to a decline in prices, as indicated by the decrease in several expenditure group indices, namely: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 15.61 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 2.59 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 1.37 percent; the household equipment, appliances, and routine maintenance group by 1.19 percent; and the clothing and footwear group by 0.38 percent. On the other hand, there were price increases reflected in the rise of expenditure group indices, including the food and beverage service/restaurants group by 2.47 percent; the health group by 2.01 percent; the personal care and other services group by 1.47 percent; the food, beverages, and tobacco group by 1.12 percent; the transportation group by 0.63 percent; and the education group by 0.19 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate in Tolitoli Regency for January 2025 was 1.22 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate in Tolitoli Regency for January 2025 was 1.22 percent.
