The Farmer’s Exchange Rate (NTP) is an indicator used to measure the purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. It also reflects the terms of trade between agricultural products and the goods and services consumed or used for production costs.

In December 2024, the NTP of Central Sulawesi Province was recorded at 118.37, an increase of 4.47 percent compared to November 2024.
The price index received by farmers (It) rose by 4.58 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.11 percent.
Among the subsectors, the highest NTP in December 2024 was in the smallholder plantation crops subsector at 134.76, while the lowest was in the fisheries subsector at 92.19.
The Household Farming Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) was 119.62, an increase of 4.64 percent compared to November 2024.
At the national level, the NTP in December 2024 increased by 1.24 percent compared to the previous month, while the NTUP rose by 1.75 percent.
The national NTP and NTUP in December 2024 were recorded at 123.51 and 126.65, respectively.
